Vanity Fair Outtakes + New events and candids
I finally had some time to catch up with all the Josh/Evi goodness that has appeared lately. First, outtakes from the Vanity Fair shoot, incredibly beautiful shots, thanks to ontd_lost. And yesterday Josh attended the Last Celebration event, looking good as always! Evi’s been a busy girl the past week, appearing in three talkshows and at one event. I added candids of her arriving at David Letterman show on May 10th and at the Re-release Of The Rolling Stones’ “Exile On Main St.” which she attended on May 11th!

I added the first outtake from the Vanity Fair photoshoot done by the cast in February. Josh and Evi look stunning, as does the rest of the cast.

‘Lost’ Lilly enjoying ‘normal’ character
Evangeline Lilly has claimed that her Lost character Kate represents “normalcy”.
The actress told E! Online that she has enjoyed the change as Kate was originally the “wild card” on the island.
“I do think that Kate is good,” she said. “I feel fairly confident that Kate is good.
“But more than good, I think Kate has become the standard of normalcy on this show because everyone is cuckoo! Everyone’s losing their minds, everything’s mayhem and it’s crazy. And she’s sort of one of the few people who’s just still trucking along, focused, solid in herself, and doing her thing.”
She continued: “[That's] valuable to me, I think it’s really fun, because at the very beginning I feel like there were a lot of characters who were pretty stable and, you know, pretty concrete on the show and she was a little bit of a wild card. So it’s a bit of a role reversal and it’s fun to see that and it’s fun to play that.”
Lost continues Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC in the US and Fridays at 9pm on Sky1 in the UK.

Oscar Night Belongs To ‘The Hurt Locker’
The much-hyped Oscar fight between Kathryn Bigelow’s “The Hurt Locker” and James Cameron’s “Avatar” turned out to be a knockout Sunday night (March 7), as “Hurt Locker” won Best Picture and Bigelow became the first woman in Academy Award history to win for Best Directing.
Those wins were two of six “Hurt Locker” took home from its nine nominations during the live ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, including Film Editing, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing. Shut out of the major categories, “Avatar” nabbed a total of three wins — out of nine noms — in categories like Cinematography, Visual Effects and Art Direction.
Taking the stage to accept the win for Best Picture just moments after winning for Directing, Bigelow thanked men and women in uniform all over the world, in the military and other services. “They are there for us, and we are there for them,” she said.
Minutes earlier, accepting the Directing award, Bigelow said, “I’d just like to dedicate this to the women and men of the military who risk their lives every day in Iraq and Afghanistan and around the world. May they come home safe.”
